Heather Abbott Foundation and the Boston Marathon

The Heather Abbott Foundation (HAF) was formed after the Boston Marathon bombing on April 15, 2013. Sadly, three lives were lost that day and several hundred were injured. Heather Abbott was among those injured. She lost her left leg below the knee. That did not stop her. She has gone on to help others – by providing prosthetic devices to limb loss victims of traumatic circumstances.

Team Limb-it Less is a team that runs in the Boston Marathon. It is an incredible honor to be accepted – as you will not only run in the Boston Marathon, but you’ll also help make an impact on the lives of amputees. Funds raised through Team Limb-it Less helps allow HAF to provide grants for prosthetic devices.

Ian Gray, our Clinic Manager in Worcester, MA, was honored to be able to be a part of Team Limb-it Less.
